General Information The Delmarva Education Foundation's initial priority has been to compile an easily accessible index of local scholarships that are available to students of the lower Delmarva Peninsula: Sussex County, Delaware; Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, Worcester counties in Maryland; Accomack and Northampton counties in Virginia. Only these counties are listed in this database as an area for eligibile residency even if a scholarship is also open to students in another county or has statewide eligibility. National scholarships are only listed if they have a local award component. *This searchable database is continuously being updated and every effort is made to include the most accurate data possible, but due to the constantly changing nature of this information DEF is not responsible for inaccuracies. The most recent data, which may be from a previous year, is listed until we are able to replace it with more current information. We encourage students to double-check deadlines and other criteria with the scholarship sponsor or other contact given. DEF does not guarantee that any monies will be awarded.
